Hello, welcome to my website.
I’m looking forward to working with everyone this year.
I teach 6th, 7th, & 8th grade Physical Education, and a Health Elective Course.

I’m a real Union School District junkie.

Born in San Jose, I attended Athenour Elementary School, Dartmouth Middle School, and Branham High School. Go Bruins!!! My two sons also attended all three of these schools. I believe strongly in the Union School District having watched my sons develop a love for learning here. I graduated from San Jose State with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Performance. I continued my education at San Jose State earning my Teaching Credential.

I taught Physical Education for 13 years at Athenour Elementary School, and then worked 2 years at Oster Elementary School as a Title 1 Reading Aide. After working as a substitute teacher for 1 year, I came to Dartmouth Middle School full time, which I have called home since 2007.

My kids are my passion. I loved watching my kids Friday Night Football Games, Soccer Matches and Swimming Events at Branham. They are now in college age. My husband and boys are crazy about football… European style (i.e. soccer). I have two Yellow Labrador dogs named Samson & Sebastian to keep me company.

I enjoy all Sports.

It is my hope that I can help to develop in my students an active, healthy lifestyle and a lifelong love for sports. Through sport, I hope to demonstrate the rewards of discipline, team work, and fair play. I have coached Cross Country, Basketball, Soccer and Track and Field, but assignments vary from year to year.
